Farnek is a leader in sustainability, underscoring these credentials is the internet-based software, Optimizer, the benchmarking tool which allows a building’s energy, water and waste to be measured and benchmarked against similar buildings over time. Hotel Optimizer was specially designed for the hotel industry to provide a holistic mechanism for analysing waste management and recycling efforts. Since its inception 10 years ago, the software has been utilised by company’s including Mövenpick Hotels, Radisson, Marriot and Majid Al Futtaim Properties.



Farnek is also recognised as the preferred partner of Green Globe and in 2010 the company partnered with myclimate (Swiss Climate Foundation) to integrate carbon assessment and Gold Standard carbon offsetting programs. Farnek now supports more than 100 properties with their environmental performance.
